Whatever the year of the birthday, find a special event that happened in that era and make that your party theme.

So you can base your party on Aerosmith and have all their songs playing and do a rock n roll theme and make the invites look like concert tickets.

If you were born in 1990 that was the same year Super Mario Brothers 3 was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System console. Have everyone dress up like a Super Mario character or just have everyone wear overalls. Have gold coin candies as gifts and have contest playing the video game.

If you can't find a special event that happened that year than you can always just dress the part and have everyone dress like they are from the 70's, 80's, or 90's.

There is so much to play up on the year you were born and everyone gets a history lesson as well. This can be fun for people of all ages! I can't wait to hear the reviews.
