Pumpkin Lawn BowlingEmpty out those soda bottles and grab your mini-pumpkin. It's time for pumpkin lawn bowling! It's nice to have six plastic soda bottles. Give the bottles a little weight but not too much. You can fill them with a little water, dirt or sand. Place them in a diamond shape: three in the back, two in middle row, and one in the front center. Create a starting line about 30 feet away from the soda bottle pins. Using small pumpkins attempt to strike as many pins as possible just as you would in regular bowling. One point is earned for each bottle you strike. If all bottles are struck down, the player earns double the points. A few pumpkins may get smashed along the way, but it's all in fun. Bobbing For ApplesBobbing for apples is a traditional Halloween game inspired by fall. If you have a barrel to float apples in, great! But if not, use a big tin ice bucket or ice chest like the ones you often see holding soft drinks and beer at summer barbeques.Fill your bucket or ice chest with apples and let the bobbing begin. Remember, players can only use their teeth to capture the apples, so you may want to provide paper towels for quick cleanup!
