The guest list is small because it takes a lot of room to wrap gifts, so I like to include 5 or 6 of my good friends. I prepare a little party gift for each girl that includes printable gift tags, a pair of scissors, gift wrap tape, and fancy bobbles to dress up the gifts. For the gift tags, I just print them off this website. Find free and inexpensive printable gift tags on the Christmas Printables page. I cut out the gift tags using pinking shears or scissors with fancy edges. Then, I just place them in a clear plastic cellophane bag with scotch tape and other bobbles. It makes a really fun and practical party favor. Because I host this small party every year, I prepare well in advance by purchasing tons of gift wrap and ribbon the day after Christmas when it goes on sale. But, you can have everyone bring a roll or two of gift wrap and a spool of ribbon or bows. Of course, the party isn't all about wrapping. I turn on the Christmas party music, light the fire, and make hot cider and hot chocolate. Friends really look forward to this party every year because it gets them in the mood for the holidays and turns what some think of as a 'chore' into a delight. The idea behind the party is that everyone brings the Christmas gifts that they need to wrap, and we do it as a group. Some ladies have a lot and some only a few, but we pitch in and everyone's gift wrapping is done with lots of fun!
