Cooking Party

Cooking Party: This is a great party for a group of single friends....or even several couples.

First, decide on a menu and theme for the party...
Example: Italian Dinner

Second, plan for each guest to bring a particular ingredient that will be used to make the dinner.
Example: Spaghetti, Wine, Italian Bread, Spices, Cheese, etc.

Third, the host/hostess should provide the basics...dinnerware, silverware, cooking utensils, cookware, etc.

Make a cute invitation that includes the menu for the night, as well as an explanation of what item each particular guest should bring.

When everyone arrives, gather the group in your kitchen and cook together to get the meal ready. Some people will invariably be more experienced cooks than others which makes the party more interesting. Serve the meal when everything is ready....and then enjoy the company of your friends as well as a great home-cooked meal!

For an extra fun touch, provide inexpensive chef's aprons for each guest as a party favor.
