Dinner Party Themes from Around the World Without Leaving the Neighborhood!

This is a great idea for a block party or even in one house. You would pick a country for each room/ house and not only decorate for that country but also have everything in the room represent that country.

One neighbor picked Mexico and decorated for cinco de mayo. They had a taco bar (nachos would've been a better idea), and served shots of tequila and margaritas.

The next house was Asia. It was decorated for Chinese New Years and they served Asian finger foods like sushi, pot stickers and egg rolls, their drinks of choice were saki bombs.

Last, but not least, we moved to Ireland which was decorated for St. Patty's day. They had potatoes and various Irish dishes, but we mostly grubbed on other snacks. Here they served Bailey's and Irish car bombs.

Everybody had a blast and it was nice because we were able to keep the thrill of the party alive. No one had to suffer the whole day as host/ hostess. It was also a nice way to see everybody else's homes and how far out they went to make the house the best!
