Easy Fudge Recipe
This easy fudge recipe makes a great sweet treat, party favor, addition to an Easter basket or Christmas stocking stuffer! It's great on its own, or you can pair it with other easy-to-make candies such as our easy peanut brittle recipe, butter caramels recipe, or chocolate truffles recipes.
Ingredients:
Grease a 9 inch square pan with butter and set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine evaporated milk, butter, sugars and cocoa powder. Stir constantly while cooking over medium heat. Cook until sugars dissolve and the mixture comes to a boil. Place a candy thermometer in the mixture, and allow the mixture to boil for 10 minutes. The fudge should reach the "soft ball" stage of 234-240 degrees. Do not allow thermometer to reach more than 240 degrees. Remove from the heat and add flour and vanilla. Mix thoroughly with a wood spoon of mixer. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares immediately. Allow the fudge to set up completely before serving. Make a double batch of this easy recipe. It lasts for a few weeks in a tightly sealed container. Return from Easy Fudge Recipe to Easter Dessert Recipes.
