Flag Day Cookout Internation Party Theme
Flag Day Cookout Internation Party Theme is a creative party idea shared by Mateo of Miami Beach, FL in one of our creative party ideas contests. My friends and I (in my condo complex) gather at the pool almost every weekend (weather permitting...sometimes rain doesn't stop us.) We have a BBQ area with tables, and tent-like structures. Once a year, at the end of July, we choose a small paper flag from a hat and we make a recipe based on that country. It can be prepared on the BBQ or made at home. We do allow swapping of flags.
This submission was an entry in our fun monthly contest.
We decorate with flags and have an International Potluck lunch/dinner. Oh, did I forget to mention, guests have to come up with a cocktail, beer or something (mostly alcoholic) that matches that country.
