Remember, if you're carrying gold, frankincense and myrrh, it will take more than 3 men and 3 camels to protect the goods, plus you would not wear flashy clothes to draw attention to yourself!!

Guests knock at the door of Joseph and Mary (the hosts), which has an illuminated star above the entry, and enter by showing their camel shaped invitation. Guests exchange their invitations (park their camels) for a WISEMAN trivia question and a lunar calendar.

Questions take you to clues in the Bible concerning the correct time of year Jesus was born, or questions about wise people throughout United States' history and wise sayings overheard from the invited guests during the past year.

If your party facility (or house) has enough space, it can be sectioned off, with decorations (food and drink included) depicting answers to each clue in the Bible that points to the time of year Jesus was born.

If you don't have the space, all clues can be incorporated into your decor.

For example:

• Area #1 - the Levites- and the clues are from the Books of Numbers (an ephod; "to-do" list, lots of things red, etc.).
• Area #2 - Birth of John the Baptist -and the clues are from the Gospel according to Luke (box from a pregnancy test; placard with 'My lips are sealed'; a vase with flowers that may have been in bloom when Mary and Elizabeth were together, etc.).
• Area #3 - the Feasts- and the clue are from the Book of Leviticus (stage masks that show happy/sad; Popsicle sticks; stuffed sheep, cows, goats, birds; a very large bowl; red, blue, cream, purple curtains, etc.).

• Decor: Lots of wood furniture; over-sized pillows; boxes of gold pieces; jars marked "myrrh"; pouches marked "incense"; scrolls; colorful bedspreads to cover doorways. Use large tassels (or hemp rope) to tie back the bedspreads. Palm plants. If you have a fireplace, place lit hurricane lamps or large candles there.
• Music: Middle Eastern - Messianic music.
• Food: Kosher Mediterranean.
• Drink: Wine, water.
• Utensils: Goblets; silver, gold or wooden bowls.
