Fundraising Party Ideas: Trash to Cash Party Go Green

Here's one of those great fundraising party ideas: a Trash to Cash party. It's a fun way to encourage everyone to "Go Green." Turn unwanted vinyl floor remnants intended for the landfill into beautiful works of art. Obtain unwanted vinyl remnants from a flooring company.

As a group paint the back side of the vinyl with a theme or just a splash of color to create a beautiful floor cloth. Use Acrylic paint and allow it to dry. Then spray with polyurethane.

Floor cloths are very popular and can be sold and the group can keep the money or donate to a non profit organization. Of course, the group can select other trash items to create into art.
