Grilled Potatoes: Smoky Cheddar!

Grilled Potatoes? That's right! They're delicious. You can grill baking potatoes directly on the grill with no fuss at all.

But, for something a little more spectacular, try these smoky grilled cheddar potatoes.

They're a perfect addition to cold picnic food recipes. Pair them with the best grilled pork chops and you've got a gourmet meal straight from the grill!

Grilled Cheddar Potatoes

• 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch squares
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoon of butter
• 1 cup of smoked cheddar cheese, shredded
• 2 to 4 slices of fully cooked bacon, chopped into bits
• 2 medium green onions, diced

Place potato chunks on a 30 x 18 inch piece of foil. Sprinkle with salt and distribute the butter. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits.

Fold the foil into a tight packet, securing all the ingredients. Pierce foil with a fork to allow some steam to exit while cooking.

Place over coals, steam side up, and grill for 45 minutes to an hour. Sprinkle with onions and serve.
