This is a simple and fun game that can be played by guests mingling or sitting at a table. It's very versatile and good
for children or adult halloween games (but probably not when both are mixed).
The host takes a piece of paper and writes a scary sentence in middle of the paper.
Example: "The bloody knife was the only thing that remained."
The host folds the paper in half and passes it along with a pen to someone else. The host says,
"This is a scary story about Dick and Jane." Write one scary sentence (without telling others what you're writing). Fold it in half. Then pass it to the next person.
The next guest writes a scary sentence and folds the paper in half and passes it yet again.
Once each guest has made up a sentence and folded the paper, the paper
is given to the host (or anyone who would like to read the story). The sentence on the outside of the paper is read first. Then the paper is unfolded and each sentence is revealed as each fold is undone.
You may be surprised that this Halloween game isn't as easy as you might think!
Choose a very large pumpkin and give it eyes and a mouth for the face. We suggest using a marker or paint as
carving the pumpkin would make the nose placement too obvious.
Next give each player a triangle shaped piece of construction paper for the nose. Write the players' names on the
noses.
Blind-fold each player, spin him around, and point him toward the pumpkin. The closest nose wins the game.
Children love this game, but make no mistake about it, adults do too! After a drink or two, the child comes out in everyone!
