Haunted House Decorating Ideas
Place skeletons skulls on the fence posts and create a grim entrance with a black reaper to greet guests. Once guests enter through your graveyard, decorate the room of your haunted house. Each room could have a different theme. Here are some of our favorite haunted house decorating ideas for rooms at your Halloween Party:
Scary Movie Theme Halloween Themed Room
Select the scariest/funniest parts of the movie and decorate around that idea. For example, in "Psycho", there's a famous murder scene that takes place in the shower. (Almost every scary movie seems to have this scene). Hang shower curtains with a few red paint splotches on them around the room.
Animated figures, animated props, or animatronics
These props pop-up, lift grave stones, and talk or
moan at spontaneous times. Animated figures can be simple, like a flying bat, or very dramatic, such as a

Play the music from the movie or have the movie playing on your television. And for really scary haunted house decorations, you can't get any creepier than the Bloody Weapons Garland we've found! Yikes! It's too creepy to show the picture! If you want to build a haunted house in your home, include this garland in the bathroom ... no one with be in there too long!
Haunted House Decorating Ideas: Murder Mystery Decorations
Start by putting around the door. You can also use tape on your floor to create a "chalk" outline of a body. Drape your table in a . Place various "murder" weapons around the room. Create the mysterious feel with a Skull Candelabra Prop. This candelabra comes with the light up candles and gets rave reviews. Everyone who doesn't get two of these wishes they did!

Rats, Rodents, Roaches, Run!What could be more gross than a room of rodents and other creepy critters?! It's a simple idea that'll make your guests' skin crawl! It's also very easy to do for a home Halloween haunted house or party, because it quite inexpensive. Place your rats everywhere. You can even blend these repulsive rodents into your Halloween party snacks by creating dirty rat cupcakes!
If you have skulls, monsters, zombies or other room decorations, work the rats into that decoration. This works particularly well with a skeleton or
