Indiana Jones Birthday Party

Have all the kids you invite wear a costume. Make a course for the kids to do at the party.

At my son's 8th birthday party, we made marshmallow shooters, and part of the course was to knock down foam blocks.

We also had a balance beam, water balloons as land mines, a bucket of mud with special rocks they had to find in it. Also we had a climbing wall and a rope swing.

When the kids finished, we gave them themed bags. They took home the marshmallow shooters that we made from PVC pipe.

Excellent kids birthday party idea! This kind of theme really makes for good ideas for activities. And keeping the kids entertained means the party takes care of itself and they'll remember it fondly for a good long time.

I love the special rocks in a bucket of mud idea. The rocks could be glass beads. If you want to have a competitive game, you could have each kid take turns and give a prize for the kid who finds the one special rock.
