Accessorize you Pirate Wench Costume
So you have a great pirate costume, but you're looking to take it up a notch?
You can accessorize your pirate wench costume with a few things you may have around your house. A red scarf makes a great head band. Allow it to hang long across you shoulder. Red scarves also make great sashes worn around the waist for both men and women.
If you don't have a scarf, then purchase a pirate hat for a grand effect. If you have long hair, wear it down. But, put a few braids in it and accessorize the braid with feathers, beads, and ribbons intertwined within the braids.
If you own a black bustier, it can go a long way. Where a white poofy blouse underneath the bustier for a authentic pirate wench look!
Boots are the perfect accessory. Wear skinny pants (black if you have them) so that the boots are featured.
As an alternative to pants, grab the longest solid color skirt you can find. You can even use an old bridesmaid dress if it's the right color! Tie the bottom of the skirt in a knot between your legs.
A pirate's booty bag tied around the waist is another great pirate accessory. Use an old leather pouch. Or, take a black napkin or piece of fabric. Fill it with pennies (for the sound effect) and tie a string around the top.
