Spinach Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 package frozen spinach
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 2 medium green onion, chopped
- 1 round uncut loaf of bread (optional)
Squeeze water out of spinach and drain well. Pat dry with paper towels.
Mix spinach, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion soup mix and water chestnuts well. Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours for the soup mix to soften and flavors to mess.
Make a bowl out of the bread by cutting the top off and hollowing out, leaving an inch or two for the walls of the bowl. Serve dip in hollowed bowl.
