Retro Party Theme

The retro party theme, "Come As Your Were" is great for a birthday or anniversary. Basically, guests come as they were in a given year.

If you're celebrating an anniversary and you were married in 1985, everyone comes as they were in 1985. That means if you were on the football team, come as a football player. If you were a waitress in diner, you'll come as that.

For a birthday, guests can come as they were during the year that the birthday person graduated high school (usually thought of as the "good ole days").

This retro theme party is slightly different than other retro parties because guests really look back to exactly what they were doing that year, rather than whatever the fad was.

Retro parties are alot fun. It's best when you have decor, food and fun facts about the time period so guests can really get into the groove.
